The traditional coconut curry is a curry made with coconut juice is quite popular. The Goan fish curries and prawn curry are known for their taste and renowned in the whole of coastal India while fried fish dish in their style is well known.This spicy Fish curry is a coconut and kokum curry which is also very popular. Ingredients
Coconut grated: 1 cup
Red chilies: 4-5
Tamarind/ Amsol: 2sps
Turmeric: 1pinch
Coriender: 2sps
Method:
Gind All the Ingredients with 1 cup water & make a fine masala
In a Deep dish(kadai) add this masala & little water(to make curry consistency 1 cup water)
Bring to boil then add salt to taste
Add cleaned fish & cook covered for 8 min
Serve this Fish curry with Hot Rice & fish fry
Prawns Fry recipe:
Prawns: 6-8
Red chili powder: 2 sps
Turmeric: 1pinch
Tamarind paste: 2sps
Salt to taste
Lemon:1/2
Oil to fry: 3-4sps
Wash the prawns & de-vien them
Marinate the cleaned prawns with salt & lemon juice
Keep aside for 5 min
Make a paste of Red chilli powder, turmeric & tamarind paste
squeeze out excess liquid from prawns and coat well i this chili paste.
Keep the griddle/tawa hot add oil to it
In a plate add semolina and coat the prawns one by one
Fry it on the oiled griddle sprinkle some oil on top
After 2 min turn and cook on the other side for 2 min
Crispy Rava Coated Prawns fry are ready
