Penne Pasta for Thanksgiving


This Thanksgiving go Vegan try this Penne Pasta with creamy tangy red sauce for Thanksgiving as the kids & grownups like it a lot

Pasta is easy to cook, which gives you more time to prep for other dishes you are planning, So give it a go, my kid loves this pasta, this was a hit with his little friends also, they all gulped it down in no time so decided to cook it even on Thanksgiving

Try this easy recipe

Ingredients:

Cooked pasta: 2 cups
Flour: 1/2 cup
Seasoning: salt, oregano, pepper
Milk: 1cup
Pasta sauce: 2tbsp or(can use tomato puree with hot & sour sauce)
Olive oil/any cooking oil: 2bsp

Follow this easy procedure:

I have used Penne pasta, you can use macaroni or spaghetti any pasta of your choice 
In a large dish add 1 liter water add salt & cook the pasta, then drain keeping little water separately
Keep this cooked pasta in a bowl of water until use

In a deep dish add Olive oil then once medium hot add the flour mixed with seasoning
Now fry this for a minute once it starts changing color add the milk & stir

Keep steering till its thickened a bit then add the cooked pasta and mix
Now add the Pasta sauce & mix if its too thick add the reserved water little

Penne Pasta is ready to serve, Kids enjoy this a lot as its creamy & tasty, So here is your Thanksgiving Meal ready

Cheesy Homemade Pizza


Cheesy Homemade Pizza, this classic Margarita Pizza is loaded with cheese, Here is a super Easy to make Homemade Pizza, You will love this cheesy delight

For Quick & Easy Pizza recipe for all pizza lovers follow this method

Ingredients:

For Pizza Base:

All purpose flour: 1+1/2 cup
Yeast: 1+1/2 tablespoon
Sugar: 1teaspoon
Milk: 1/4 cup
Water: 3/4th cup
Salt little


For toppings:

Garlic chili sause or Pizza Sause
Mozzarella Cheese: 1 cup
Mixed herbs(Oregano, basil, thyme): 2-3 sps


Easy Pizza Making Process:

For the Pizza base:
Prep time: 40 min

  • Firstly should dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water
  • Add 1 sp sugar to warm water & dissolve then add Yeast
  • Dont shake it leave it undisturbed till the yeast forms bubbles
  • In a mixing bowl add Flour then add yeast mix & little Warm milk




  • Make a soft strechy dough, it should not be dry must be wettish



  • Knead the Dough by pressing it on clean surface & moving forward
  • Do this for atleast 6-8 times till its streachy, use little flour & rub to hands to remove dough which is stuck to your hands
  • Keep this dough covered with damp cloth in a warm place(Or else keep it on a warm vessel)
  • After One hour the dough will double up, just bash it to remove Air, Your Pizza dough is ready

For the Pizza assembly
Total time to bake: 15 min
Oven temperature: 150*
Heating: both top & bottom
  • Preheat oven 15 min prior to starting the assembly
  • Take a portion of Dough if you want pan size, use half of the dough
  • Grease the Baking tray with Oil & take a portion of dough & make small disc
  • Flatten it with your hands to make a thick Pancake as shown below

  • I bake this Pizza base for 2-3 min first, then remove it
  • Add Oil to the sides, then add pizza sauce & spread it out
  • Sprinkle the mixed herbs seasoning
Add the Toppings of your choice
  • At this stage I Bake the pizza for 8 or 10 min @ 150*
  • Check after 8 min if the base starts to brown remove the pizza
  • Add grated Mozzarella cheese, best is to directly grate it on the Pizza spreading properly\
  • Bake with just the Top heat(Grill) for 3-4 min just till the cheese melts
  • Remove & let it cool down a bit
  • Wait is Over Pizza Assembly is ready in 15 min, cut the pieces & enjoy cheesy pizza

Chili Chicken Dry


Spicy Starters Chili Chicken Dry winter special, enjoy juicy Boneless chili chicken nuggets coated in spicy Manchurian style dry dish for starters

Deep fried Boneless chili chicken nuggets are easy to make & can be served as it is or can be mixed with sauces and make this Chicken Chili Manchurian style

For this I have Marinated the Boneless chicken in vibrant green paste of Fresh Coriander, Green chilies along with a small piece of onion for flavor, This need not be marinated for long you can make this easy in no time so follow this easy recipe and make Spicy Chili Chicken Dry for Starters 



Ingredients:

Boneless chicken: 150grms
Green chilies: 4
Coriander: 1/2 cup
Onion: 1/4th
Salt to taste

Flour for coating: Maida
Oil for deep frying: 2cups

For tempering:
Green chili: 1-2
Capsicum:1/2(optional)
Onion: 1/2
Oil: 2sps
Tomato chili sauce(hot & sweet): 2tbsp
Corn flour: 1/2 cup with little water

Procedure:

In a Blender small jar make paste of Green chilies, Coriander & Onion with very little water
Take cleaned boneless chicken add salt, lemon juice & leave for 5 min
Then squeeze out excess water add ginger garlic paste little & rub the chicken then add the Green chili coriender onion paste mix well and leave for 10-15 min

Then add oil for deep frying in a small deep Dish & heat it up
In a plate Take little Maida(All purpose flour)
Squeze each chicken piece and add to the flour and coat it & arrange all pieces similarly

Then fry these in Medium hot oil for 5 min  remove



In a frying Pan/Wok add Oil, add green chilies slit & Onion chopped
Saute then add capsicum & fry little then add Deep fried chicken Pieces

Add Tomato chili sauce mix then lastly add cornflour slurry mix fast till it coats

Spicy Chili Chicken Dry is ready to serve, Enjoy this winter special dish

Egg Chilli Manchurian style


Egg Chilli makes a great finger food, Crispy fried Eggs coated with spicy Manchurian  along with Bell peppers make a great starter try this easy Egg chilli

I Usually dont prefer frying the eggs as it tends to absorb more oil, But while making this Egg chilli if we fry it in batter its very light & crisp & tastes good, so i just flash fried it(not absorbing more oil)

You can make this Egg chili with very less Ingredients & can even make use of just any sauces if you dont have Soya sauce or chilli sauce also its ok, check this recipe out for substitutes

Here is the recipe

Ingredients Needed:

Boiled Eggs(Hard boiled): 3
Capsicum: 1/2
Cornflour: 1/2 cup
Gram flour: 1/4th cup
Red chili powder/Paprika: 2tsp
Salt

Schezwan powder: 1sp(contains garlic powder, salt, chili powder)
Corn flour slurry: 3tbsp 
Soya sauce: 1sp(Optional)
Chili sauce or Tomato sauce: 2sp(Optional)
Oil for Deep frying

Procedure to follow for this simple egg chilli using very less ingredients:

Boil the Eggs & remove shell once its cooled then Cut it into Half or quarters
Cut the capsicum lengthwise I have just saute this capsicum in little Oil
(You can even fry these capsicum dipping in the same batter as eggs)

For the batter
In a bowl combine Cornflour, Gram flour & Red chili powder/Paprika & salt add little water & mix to make a smooth & semithick batter

For Deep frying Take Oil enough to dip in a deep dish & heat it up
Once its hot turn it to medium, then add the Halved eggs in Batter coat nicely & fry it in oil
Dont overcrowd just add 4 pcs at a time fry for 3-4 min & remove on tissue paper
You can deep fry the capsicum as well

Once the eggs & capsicum are fried time to saute it & make it Manchurian style

I have just used Schezwan powder, Corn flour slurry & Tomato sauce
You can skip the Schezwan powder, and add Soya sauce & Chili sauce instead

In a dish add Oil & saute the capsicum then add Fried Eggs
In a bowl mix Schezwan powder, cornflour and water & make a thin slurry
Add this to the above Capsicum & eggs mix give a quick mix with Tomato sauce
Dont over mix just one or two turns. switch off when its coated

Crispy fried Eggs coated with spicy Manchurian is ready to serve
