Ragi/ Finger Millet is Diabetic friendly non
starchy & gluten free, which makes
It a very healthy alternative, Finger millet is very high in calcium, rich in iron and
fibre, and has a better energy content than other cereals. These
characteristics make it ideal for feeding to infants and the elderly.
Ingredients Needed:
Ragi: 1/2cup

Rice flour: ½ cup
Semolina(Rava): 3/4thcup
Onion: 1
Green chilies: 3
Coriender leaves: little
Water: 5+1/2 cups
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method to follow:
In a mixing bowl add Ragi, Rava & Riceflour
Take 2 cups water add to the flour slowly mix together, add
rest of the water
Leave this aside for 5-10 min

Menwhile finely Chop Onion, greenchilies & coriender leaves
Add this to the batter along with salt to taste
Now the batter has rested for 10 min give it a nice mix
Batter is ready to make Dosas
Heat a Tawa(Griddle) add 2 sps Oil & spread it out evenly
Then
sprinkle batter like neerdosa with force one Half ladle left side & half
right side (Just sprinke batter dont spread. Batter should be poured one left
side one right side)...
It will have pores don't fill the pores... Apply oil on top cook till brown
When the sides crisps turn it & cook till other side till its crispy

Serve hot with Sambhar immediately, Crispy Hotel style Healthy Ragi Rava Dosa is ready
Note:
Batter should be watery for 1cup flour it shd have 3cups water
Batter should be
poured one left side one right side...& holes will appear...leave it don't
fill up the holes
Wait till it crisps
then only turn the dosa. Needs a bit patience serve immediately
If not serving
immediately keep it on a warm tawa on sim for 5 min till you serve
