Jeera Rice Paneer Masala


Jeera Rice is Fragrant Rice Flavoured with Cumin along with Paneer Masala, vegetarian combo loved by all
Using ghee gives it a nice Aroma, with very few ingredients you can create this flavourful Rice
Ingredients
Sonamasuri Rice: 2 cups
Ghee(clarified butter): 4 tsp
Cloves: 5-6
Cinamin: 1 inch
Bay leaves:2
Slit green chilies: 4
Jeera (cumin): 2sps
Water : 3 cups
Cashew nuts fried for garnish




Recipe is simple 
Soak 2cups rice for 10 min
In a pressure cooker add Ghee
Then add whole spices Cloves ,Cinamin, Bay leaves
Add Slit Green chilies & Jeera 2sps mix
Add Soaked drained rice
Add Water 4 cups for 2 cups rice
add salt & cook for 2 visels....
Jeera rice ready garnish with fried cashew


Ingredients for simple Paneer Masala 

Paneer, cubed 250 grms
Onion 1, 
Cashew:5-6
Tomato 2 
Moti elachi 2 
Red chilli powder 1 tsp 
Jeera powder: 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp 
Oil/ghee 3-4 tblsp 
Salt as needed 
Coriander leaves 2 tblsp



Method

1. Cube onion and tomato,keep ready
 In a pan add Onion, cashew moti elachi & water & boil for 5 min
Then Add chopped tomatoes to it and cook covered until mushy.
2. Cool and blend in a mixer 
Mean while boil water and keep the paneer immersed in the hot water until use.
3. Heat pan with oil/ghee and add the strained mixture. Add tomato sauce,salt,red chilli,jeera powder & garam masala
4. Fry till oil separates and forms like a thick paste. Add water 1/2cup Add paneer cubes drained from water & cook 2-3 min
5. Cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes. No need to boil for more time.
Garnish with coriandar leaves

• You can even use thin cream or milk to make more creamy

Simple paneer masala is ready to serve with Jeera Rice
